I had some German friends who just spent several nights at Heceta Head lighthouse. They have a bed-and breakfast to go with the lighthouse. perhaps you and Amy stayed there? I also have fond memories of the sand dunes. So magical, and it's fun to try running on them.

Hi Alan, this is my first time to this cool blog of yours. I'm so glad that you were in Lane County. I have a bunch of photos from the North Bend/Coos Bay area that I took last summer. I'll round up some links for you.

What a wonderful and clever idea this whole blog is!

Take care,
Kathy M.
